The world’s first three-day event of this kind
The 28th edition of the Summit will bring together 54 African heads of state and a variety of stakeholders from Africa and France offering projects and solutions. Their ideas will help us build sustainable cities and regions and rise to the challenges of the massive urbanisation expected to take place in Africa over the next few decades.
The French President, Emmanuel Macron, has organised this major political event which, for the first time, will gather political and economic stakeholders from Africa and France. Together, they will take action and work towards developing the sustainable city of the future.
An event for the economy at the Parc des expositions in Bordeaux, bringing together over 500 companies from France and Africa that are developing solutions linked to subjects including the environment, energy, mobility, healthcare, education, finance, safety and agriculture.
The Summit will also focus on sport and culture, rallying everyone around two big events: a football match between Africa and France at the Matmut Atlantique stadium and an urban music concert at Place des Quinconces.
